Blessing of the Animals October 4th, 2015

Oct 1, 2015

This Sunday afternoon, October 4th at 4:00 p.m., we will have our now traditional Blessing of the Animals. Here are a few things to remember:
  • We will hold the event, rain or shine. If it’s raining, we’ll simply move into the parish hall.
  • Bring your pets on leashes or in pet carriers. If you have a particularly fearful or assertive pet, bring a picture.
  • Even if you don’t currently have a pet in your life, but have had them and loved them in the past, feel free to come and remember them in our prayers.
  • Please bring a bag of cat or dog food for the local animal shelter. This goes along with our commitment to “feed ourselves/feed our neighbors,” don’t you think?
  • Invite friends and neighbors to join us.

Love God. Love Your Neighbor.
